New Years Day 2013

It has been an exceptionally uneventful day. Today of all days do I sit here sick. A nice sinus headache that leaves me tired and ornery.  I had so many expectations for today. I wanted to finish setting up the living room and dining room, but stuff is still sitting on the table.

So time for my first picture. I had another pic ready to go, but it is on my daughters iPod and I have asked her to get it to me on several occasions. So what I have is a simple picture of an icicle. It is hanging off of my back porch. My husband started to knock them off before I told him I wanted to see how long they will get.

Not interesting? Maybe not. I may not have anything interesting the whole year. But the whole point to the escapade was to make myself go out and do something. I didn't go far today since the temperature only reached 10 degrees. This morning when I woke up and checked the weather, it was -7.
